1. Lost and Found

Words & Music by Caleb Stull

G#m                        /                        /                        /

G#m                        F#                              E                        B            G#m

I felt I would need a new word for lost and found. For Lost and Found

G#m                             F#                        E

In the folds of this feverland the old words don’t describe what’s

B                        G#m

around. The old words don’t.

                                                   F#   C#m

And if you say we were born, born too late

                              B            G#m

I’d say it’s right, right for what we make.

I wanna say we were lost, I wanna say we were found.

We kept so well informed when we were wandering around.

If I could remember ever colour and every small movement you make

I could live in these memories and the loops they create.

I wanna say we were lost, I wanna say we were found.

We kept so well informed when we were wandering around.

This is how moderns love, this is how modern’s done.

Life in this feverland! Now come and get some.

            D#m                        F#

You wanna stick, you wanna holler at this time (x2) A#/D#m

            B/D#m

All the houses all arranged in straight lines.

(C3…add)

No matter how far gone we can’t escape our sound.

2. Don’t Settle Yr Heart

Words & music by Caleb Stull

D#            D#/D                Cm7  Cm/A#

I             love             the wild - ness

F7/A

That moves its way through us

Big hearted dangerous

A fire so precious

            G#                        F7/A

We flare up, We die down

            G#                                                F7/A            /

We burn what is coming around

            G#

            Don’t settle, settle your heart!

            D#                             A#

Pitched battle, a form you tried to fit but you’re not!

            G#                    Cm

            Don’t settle, settle your heart!

            A#maj6            A/F7

            Don’t settle! Don’t settle!

The future not knowing it

I know what it don’t need.

More stuff distracting us,

The thinking done for me.

We give up, we give down

We give what is going around.

            G#                                    F7/A                                        G#                                    F7/A

If you feel unfinished, life’s work in progress, the daily unexplained

            G#                                    Cm                                                  A#maj6

If you feel diminished, get yourself to changing, and loving what remains

I don’t mean to push it, the loudest are the blinded, to their own weaknesses

If you feel unfinished, get yourself to changing, and loving what remains

3. Stuff You Break

Words & Music by Caleb Stull

 C                        Am

You are fine, oh so fine.

F

Perfectly alive, drunk, a little high

C

A nod towards the light.

And what is more / I’m a sucker for

What you represent, all new and intense

Where I’ve never been before.

            F                                    Dm

Gotta stay intent / And vigilant

            F                                    Dm

Gotta beat back / All the useless crap

            Am            C                                    F

            All the useless cra – a –a – a- ap!

            Dm

            Filling up our heads,

            Am            C                                    F                        D7…

            And making a me – e – e – e - ess.

Stranger things / are happening

A hell of a lot stranger / a lot, lot stranger / then you and me.

A man has said / we’re set to invent

A life that lives forever in the blood built together

With the code’s consent.

                         D7                                         F

Despite all the might / the tension coiled tight

                        D7

Despite all the reasons we would fight.

Am            C

I don’t surrender

Testosterone / All you think we would own.

Whom ever we’re war-ing on,

I don’t surrender.

4. Sparks

Words & Music by Caleb Stull

Gm                                                    C

Who’s spark lit the fire? We don’t need to know.

Gm                                                    C

But the fire did spread to the most unfortunate souls.

            Gm                                            F

With your eyes wide open, your ears tuned to the sound,

            C

You’ll hear a fire is coming. You can feel it in this ground.

            Gm                                                      F

With your best guest flummoxed, you got schooled by the sound.

            C

You can hear a fire is coming, you can feel it in this ground.

If the fire is looking for a certain gas,

Fat will do nicely, cut from the past.

            With your eyes wide open,

You get cleaned by the sound.

You got a strange life coming,

You can feel in this town.

            With your best guest flummoxed,

You got fooled by the sound.

You hear a fire is coming,

You can feel it in this ground.

            Am                                    Gm                                    F

The most fortunate ones, the most fortunate ones…

You won’t get what you pay for, for, for, for…

Four, three, two, one…

            With your eyes wide open,

Your ears tuned to the sound,

You hear a fire is coming.

You can feel it in this ground.

            With your best guess flummoxed,

You get fooled by the sound.

You can hear a fire is coming,

You can feel it in this town.

5. New Sun

Words & Music by Caleb Stull

Am                                                C

I left a trail of broken hearts

Em                                                            G

I’d end all the love that I would start

Been caught the fool by the cheatin’ boys

It’s the plentiful times that makes us coy.

Darling, it seems that we are trapped

In a cycle of loving and leaving crap

But I know, honey, a new sun rises.

Darling, I wanna start something new,

Honest and brave and beautiful too

Cause we know, honey, a new sun rises.

I guess sometimes we can’t understand

The words that pass between a woman and a man.

And up to this point we’ve had different tales.

Hope to succeed, expect to fail.

            Dm                                                G

Maybe it is what we have learned,

            C                                    Em                                    Am

The Mom and the Dad in the genes have burned.

But every new kid can learn from the past.

Invest a little time so the time will last.

6. Strangest of Things

Words & Music by Caleb Stull

            Cm            Eb            Cm            Eb

            Cm                                    Eb            Cm            Eb

Sparks flying and you’re talking the wildest game.

In your cube pen, at work then, no one knows your secret name

                        Ab                                    Bb                Eb                Cm

And we’re cleaning what’s not getting any less dirty.

The fire, once burning, is smothered and lean.

Now get out of that building.

You’ll see the strangest of things.

Age looming and your walking the widest path.

In your absence your last chance has walked on out your front door.

You’ll see the loveliest of things.

Now get out of your skin.

You’ll see the loveliest of things.

7. Promise You

Words & Music by Caleb Stull and Mark Vescovi

Dm            /            C            Em  (x2)

            C                        Am

There’s a hole in the fence

Em                                                G

Where we’re not supposed to go.

       F                                                                (Em7)   Dm

And I held your hand thru the darkness and the cold

                                    G

You lead me thru the snow.

            F                                                (G7)            Am

And I could promise you (x2) I could.

                          G

I know it takes a little more

And you could promise me (x2) you would.

            We couldn’t know for sure.

                                    C            G

            We couldn’t know for sure

The building is trashed, open elevator shaft

And we called down, found the words to ask

And got our answers back.

Em            Dm            Em            Dm            F                        G

Now I…            realize             that you were never mine

Em            Dm            Em            Dm            F                        G

But I…                        don’t need to possess you to love this time.

F                                    C            G

We couldn’t know for sure (x4)

8. The Ends of the Earth

Words & Music by Caleb Stull

Bb    Cm            Ebmaj7            /

I live contrast, realist in abstract.

Gm                Cm                        Ebmaj7

Romantic and cynic, expand and then contract.

By gut or by mind, conflict and then conspire

From hope to doubt, I’m in and then I’m out.

Bb            Fm            Cm            /

You ran riot all over my heart.

Gm                          Cm            Ebmaj7

I can’t keep quiet, so I won’t.

                                    Bb

            Then you asked

                                    Fm

If I wanted to change the world.

                                         Cm                             Ebmin

Then you said “ try changing your street first.”

            Caught in the mouth

The shapes of the strangest words

Like I will follow you to the ends of the earth.

I did not ask for this love to distract.

You came is time, a rescue from my life.

            Stuck in the head

            Picture the crazy world

            Of our own home

            Built on our own.

            With all the sun

And all the rain we could hold

            Then you said “Now

             – love til the ends of the earth.”

            Then you said “Now

            – love til the ends of the earth.”

Cm            /            Gm                        Dmin7                        Cm                        F

What a surprise - a freight train run through my mind

A challenge comprised of you living in interesting times.

(I’m not leaving your side)

            So I am all yours!

            Lead me around for awhile.

I like what you know, the unquenchable thirst.

Shaped in the mouth, all the craziest words.

Like I will follow you to the ends of the earth

I will follow you to the ends of the earth.

9. Love This Time

Words & music by Caleb Stull

G            Am               Em                        /

He ran away up North

Em              D            C            C            G/B              Am

And got himself a job baking bread til dawn.

                 D7/F#            /                        /

He’d walk home in the riot of the colours.

And though he missed her fearsome

In these mornings he was calm, just following the river home.

The town would wake up and he’d sleep some.

Am                        C                Bm                        D

And there appeared the Borealis lights.

                        Am                        G              D            C            (x3)

And that where he will put his heart tonight

And that’s all he could hope for was love this time

                            C                        G/B                        Am                        D7/F#

That spring the ice cracked.

It made such a thundering racket.

It also marked the passing of the winter’s hefty fine.

The sound it made went oh

Am                             G                                    D                                    C            (x6)

It was December snow and forty below and the sheer surviving it.

This was where he was steered by some fix put in his choices.

The gifts he got, the subtle and not, would in time grow in strength in him.

Yesterday was just noise between girls and the boys

And something else in his place was him.

            C   G/B            Am            D7/F#

And this is how it was turning out.

10. Come and Find Me

Words & music by Caleb Stull

F#m            Bm            A

I’m blind, so blind, sometimes.

                C#m                        Bm

You were right there beside.

So close, so close, yet out of mind.

Then I started thinking right

                        D                        E

You better come and find me

            F#m                                                                        Bm

I’m right here, right here, and you’re right beside me.

Quit thinking for just a minute

It won’t take long, it won’t take long to get this.

You better, oh you better, find me soon.

‘Cause I’m not getting any younger.

Sometimes the painful obvious, is hard to notice.

But baby, there’s still time.

F#m                        C#m

I am right here,

            D

Right in front of you.

            A                                    Bm

My dream, so near

            E            Bm

Tonight, the distance is so near (last Bm/ C#m/ D…)

11. She Gone

Words & music by Caleb Stull

F#               Em                        A            /            D            A            G            /

C#mb5               F#m6            F#            /            G            /            Bm7            /

Em7                           Am7

So much I wish I could have said,

D                                              G

So much I wish I could take back.

C#mb5                          F#

So little time to reflect on this

               G                        Bm7

And then on, on to the next.

So close and then so far away.

Does the speed make you sea-sick?

From nothing to something amazing,

Then back to nothing, but with regrets.

            Em7                                       Am7

She is gone, gone, gone away!

            D                                             G

But she hasn’t left my head yet.

            Em7                                    Am7

And it’ll be long, long time til I can say

            Gm7                        D

            I am over it.

I seem to be in good company

We have all wandered out there.

The wilderness of misunderstanding it

And lost into thin air.

F#m            Em            C#mb5                        /            Am7            Gm7            D            /
